Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a quote?
You may get a quote at any time on our site by simply
clicking on “Get a Quote” or you by calling us at
1-877-RIDES-10 (1-877-743-3710).
How long does it take to have my vehicle transported?
For vehicles being transported over 1,000 miles, the typical
transit time is 7 to 14 days assuming we receive a 1-week advance
notice. We would like to have a 5-7-business day window to
schedule the pickup of your vehicle. Our typical transit time
of 7-14 days is an estimated time of arrival. Please keep this
in mind when planning your transport.
What does door-to-door service means?
Door-to-door service means that the car carrier will get as
close as physically possible to your front door, as long as
it does not compromise the cargo and/or your vehicle(s). If
you live on a main road (at least 2 lanes wide) with no overhanging
trees or low bridges and the streets leading to your house
can accommodate trucks of that size and length, then the carrier
will pick up your vehicle(s) from your door and deliver it
to your door if the same conditions apply at your destination.
As the driver approaches your pick-up/delivery location, he
will call you to confirm your address and discuss accessibility.
If accessibility is limits to the driver, he/you may suggest
meeting at a local supermarket or mall with ample space to
load/unload your vehicle(s).
What does Terminal–to–Terminal service means?
Terminal-to-Terminal service is when you drop off your vehicle at a nearby terminal.
Your vehicle is then transported from terminal to terminal on several trucks
until it reaches its destination terminal where you're responsible to pick it
up.
Do
I have to be present when you pick-up or deliver my vehicle?
Yes, we request that you or a designated person be present
upon pick up and delivery of your vehicle. The driver will perform
an inspection and paperwork must be signed. If you are unable to be
at the time of the pick-up, please call our Customer Service at 1-877-743-3710
and they will be happy to help you.
Can I put things in the trunk?
No. Auto transporters are not permitted by law to transport
personal belongings, as they do not have a household goods
transportation license. By violating this law they can be fined
up to $10,000 per occurrence. In addition, if you were to place
things in the car, they would not be covered by the insurance.
What forms of payment Creative Rides Auto Transport accept?
We accept Credit Cards: Master Card, Visa, American Express,
Discover and paypal. Furthermore, there is a deposit required
that will be charged to your credit cards, which is included
in your quoted price, to secure your order. The remainder of
the balance is then due upon delivery of your vehicle (COD),
in the forms of cash or cashiers check only.
